The last trip we all took as a group was to
Trujillo, Spain. It’s a city not far from Cáceres so it was a day trip. Also,
it looks similar to Cáceres. Trujillo has lots of rich history. There is a castle
located at a very high point in the city which has the most amazing views. The architecture
of the castle was influenced by the Arabic style of constructing buildings. The
doorways, for example, are shaped in a way that mimics a horseshoe. Also while
in Trujillo, we got to see the house of the parents of Francisco Pizarro which
has been turned into a museum. In the main plaza of Trujillo, there is a
statute of Francisco Pizarro near a church. After visiting some shops in the
main plaza, we walked through the city to the
bus station.
